I am a qualified teacher. I gained my QTLS status and am Enhanced DBS checked. I love teaching and I am passionate about making a positive contribution to my students' success. I ensure a high standard of teaching & learning. I believe in working hard and encouraging & motivating my students to do so as well.
Currently, I am home-schooling my children. This experience has given me more insight into teaching as I have had to engage in a wide variety of subjects.
I have significant teaching experience in teaching English (KS2,KS3, Functional Skills), Maths (KS2, KS3/4, I/GCSE, Functional Skills) & ICT/ Computing (KS2, KS3/4, I/GCSE, Functional Skills) in different education settings such as Schools, Colleges and Tuition, Training and Learning centres. I have an excellent success record achieving as high as a 100% pass rate.
I have significant experience in Teaching IGCSE/GCSE/Functional Skills English, Maths & ICT. Also, I am confident in teaching KS3 Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics) if required.
Recently, I have been helping KS2 students with their SATS and 11 Plus preparation and KS3 students with their 13+ and 14+. My recent 11 plus students have been offered grammar schools and private schools places with 50% - 100% Scholarships/Bursaries.
Also, currently, I am tutoring (online) IGCSE/GCSE (AQA and Edexcel) and KS3 students for Maths and Computing.
I have significant experience in teaching programming such as Scratch, Python and SQL. I am currently teaching programming with an Online School.
Most of my students are home-schoolers. I take pride in teaching, helping and raising the standard of my students so that they are ahead of their curriculum and the required level for their year groups. Some of my students (home-schooler) have been offered grammar school places for year 10 and 9 through in year entrance tests.
I am well familiar with the curriculum for AQA, Edexcel and OCR examination broads specifications & requirements.
