I am a highly experienced teacher of over 23 years. I support children with Entrance exams - 11+ and 13+ and Year 6, 7 and 8 Maths and English. As a former senior leader, I am results driven, through a nurturing and supportive approach.

Tutoring Experience

23 years as a teacher.
10 years as a senior leader/deputy head/ assistant head.
5 years as a private tutor for 11+, 12+ and 13+.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is to ensure all learning is appropriate for the individual child. I assess the child's needs amd begin teaching from their stage, not age.

Using a variety of pedagogical methods, I can engage learners effectively ensuring they remain focused and motivated to learn. I am also passionate about students learning to be independent provlems solvers to prepare them for their future.
