I am an ex Head of Biology and former Head of Year 13 in UK schools with an established record of outstanding results at GCSE, iGCSE, A-Level and IB Biology. I am privileged to have worked with some highly talented students on their journeys to Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL and other Russell Group universities. My track record of student successes includes 16+ admissions to competitive schools and entry to top UK universities to study sought after courses such as Medicine, Dentistry, Natural Sciences and Veterinary Science.

Tutoring Experience

My teaching experience has been in the UK boarding school sector and the academically renowned grammar school system, and I have been consistently judged to be an outstanding teacher throughout my 13 years in classroom. I am an Examiner for two major exam boards in the UK and examine both UK and international material, and my leadership positions in schools have allowed me to focus on the university selection and application process. As a result I have a secure insight into the assessment objectives for key UK and international examinations, as well as the knowledge and skills that students need to develop in order to excel in them.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring nurtures and builds confidence, whilst prioritising technical teaching and exam coaching to get results. What I enjoy the most is engaging students and teaching them the subject that I love!
