I am a recent graduate from the University of St Andrews where I earned a first-class honours degree in Psychology. Currently, I am working in a special needs school and I am working towards becoming an Educational Psychologist. I am a tutor passionate about psychology and I find joy in helping students not only understand but enjoy the subject of psychology!

Tutoring Experience

I am a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor who brings academic knowledge from my degree and practical experience from my tutoring sessions. Having recently graduated from the University of St Andrews where I studied a wide range of psychology topics, I am well-equipped and confident in guiding students through A-level psychology content. Over the past 2 years I have tutored privately and I have worked in both a special needs primary school and a nursery. This experience has provided me with insights into adapting teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning abilities and to create a supportive learning environment where every student can thrive academically. My academic, tutoring, and inclusive education experience has positioned me well to guide students through A level psychology to ensure that every student can excel in their studies.

As an experienced A-level psychology tutor, my approach is rooted in fostering a deep understanding of the subject and a passion for psychology. Recognising the diverse needs and learning styles of my students, I tailor my sessions to create an engaging and supportive lessons.

I have personalised learning plans to address each student's unique strengths and challenges. Before our first session I assess the student's current knowledge, identify areas of improvement, and collaborate with them to establish realistic goals. I encourage active engagement, integrating multimedia resources to enhance understanding. As A level psychology requires a solid grasp of theoretical frameworks and practical applications, I break down complex concepts into digestible components, ensuring students understand the underlying principles. Through examples and real-world applications, I strive to make psychology relatable interesting.
