I am a caring, hardworking, and enthusiastic Psychology with Education graduate who has a passion for helping other people. My interests lie in child development, education and mental and physical wellbeing. Alongside studies and work, I enjoy singing, dancing, baking, travelling and spending time with family and friends.

Tutoring Experience

I have compelling teaching experience across differing schools and age groups. Recently, I taught English to students aged five to twenty-eight in a language academy in Seville, Spain. This placement comprised supporting under-achieving students with vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar and preparing students for the A2, B1 and B2 Cambridge Speaking and Listening exams.

Alongside university, I worked as a supply teaching assistant in two special educational needs schools. This role involved conducting 1:1 English and Maths sessions with children and young adults with a range of additional needs, including: Autism, ADHD, Epilepsy, sight and hearing deficits and motor difficulties.
During Sixth Form, I volunteered in a Year 7 Maths Class, where I aided and improved the confidence of underachieving students with complex Math problems.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is to ensure activities are fun and engaging. I use multi-modal techniques e.g. visual materials, flashcards, videos, PowerPoints and practice questions.
