Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching Spanish in Gibraltar and in London for 25 years and have been Head of Spanish for the last 11 years for a private secondary school in London where 95% of students achieved grades 9-8 in GCSE Spanish and 100% achieved A*-A in A Level Spanish in 2023. I am also an Examiner for Edexcel for the Speaking section of the A Level Spanish examination.

Tutoring Approach

As Head of Spanish and Examiner, my main goal is guiding and supporting the students towards achieving their potential in the Spanish examinations. Likewise, I try to use new technology to vary my lessons. Activities involving technological tools such as Socrative for translation and Flippity for grammar are only some of the tools I use to help students improve and consolidate their learning of Spanish.
