Ellis

Hello, my name is Ellis. I have an advantage of having a close experience with the maths and art work I am going to teach. I am a hard working student who moved on to further studies in art and design before going to university this year. I have had the experience of being taught by a private maths tutor and tutoring maths, therefore I am fully aware of how the system works. My strong area is Maths and Art/Design. I easily achieved an A*'s and A's for the subjects at GCSE.

I have over 4 years of teaching Maths tutoring from the ages of 5-18.

Tutoring Approach

I have come from an Asian background so I have had the chance to explore two different cultures of how to study/revise. This gave me a board understanding on how to study and work to get good grades and I wish to share this to many other students through my teaching. At first I thought maths was boring and because of that I never wanted to study it, however my past tutor taught me how to enjoy maths which then made it easier to revise and get a good grade.
I have always loved art so it was easy for me to gain skills and approach it in a exciting way.
My main focus, I want to make the student gain more understanding and knowledge and enjoy a bit more than them learning in uncomfortable classroom environment so they can easily get the grade they want.
