Hi, I am Elle and I teach and tutor A level Psychology

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching A level Psychology for 7 years and currently teach A level Psychology at a sixth form college, recently graded by Ofsted as outstanding. I am an A level examiner for AQA and in the past have been a teaching and learning coach in charge of curriculum planning and quality of teaching and learning across the science department. I am also currently a personal tutor, dealing with students pastoral care on a weekly basis. As part of this I oversee students UCAS process and have knowledge and experience in helping students write their personal statements for university.

Tutoring Approach

I take a student centred approach to my tutoring. I am focused on helping students do their best no matter what their starting point, engaging students in discussion and actively thinking of new ways to deliver the material in a way that is best for the individual student.
