I have an LLB in English law and a diplome in French law.
I worked as an in-house lawyer in Switzerland and in London before starting a family. I currently work as a French and Spanish teacher in a local private school in Surrey and I also tutor French, Portuguese, Spanish and English to adults and children in my spare time.
I speak 5 languages; English, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.

I have an Italian father and a Brasilian mother who has lived in France for more then 20 years.

Seeing my nephews and my own children grow up with 2 languages has given me the opportunity to assist them with their english and with any other subject they have fallen behind in due to growing up with two or more languages.

Tutoring Experience

I have Key stage 1, 2 and 3 teaching experience and I have been teaching Portuguese, French and English to adults and children in their homes for the last 10 years.

I currently teach French and Spanish at a local independent school in Esher.

I have a good variety of students of different ages and levels. Each with their unique passion to learn. I have a natural flare and enthusiasm for teaching so I have passion for what I do, which naturally passes on to my students.

I also currently teach English and maths to a variety of students with different challenges. During the holidays I hold an intensive week course to the students who need a push in either their maths, english or French. If interested please let me know sooner rather then later as places are limited to 6.

Being multilingual myself and raising bilingual kids, I found that the earlier you start teaching the basics in English and maths to a bilingual child the easier it will be for them to grasp the other subjects once they start school.

For the last year I have been home schooling 2 girls the core subjects (maths and English) following the national curriculum as necessary.

Tutoring Approach

I like teaching younger children in a fun and structured way. By using props, music, and a variety of colourful objects I find I can keep their interest for longer.

For older children, I follow the national curriculum in maths and english.
