I have taught for 12 years and have been tutoring for the past 4 years including preparing for 11 + exams.

Tutoring Experience

I am a fully qualified and experienced primary school teacher and have taught all years from Reception to Year 6; I have led the mathematics curriculum and have extensive experience of teaching the Year 2 and Year 6 SATS. I am happy to tutor all subjects at a primary school level for all years. I am also experienced in tutoring for 11 + exams.

I have always been interested in education, and studied social sciences at University of Bath, where I focused my studies on child development and leadership. I then went on to training as a primary school teacher at the University of Kingston (PGCE) where I specialised in Mathematics.

Tutoring Approach

I have a positive and energetic teaching approach, and this helps in motivating students, I am flexible and understand that every child is different and learns in different ways. I will tailor my lessons according to what is best for your child.
