As a passionate language teacher and tutor with over 20 years of experience in schools and colleges, I've always been driven by a love for enabling people to learn and achieve their goals. My journey began in 1995, and since then, I've had the privilege of teaching a wide range of ages and abilities.

Over the years, my tutor base has grown steadily, and I've come to realize that one-to-one teaching is where I can make the most impact. There's something truly rewarding about watching a learner gain confidence and progress. On a 1:1 basis, I can focus on the unique needs of each student, both academically and personally, creating a relaxed and enjoyable learning environment.

Ultimately, it's the challenge of helping someone master a new language or skill that fills me with excitement. Seeing students progress quickly once they gain confidence is incredibly rewarding, and it's a privilege to be a part of their learning journey.

Tutoring Experience

I have had over 20 years teaching experience and have been involved with assessing all levels. My students have consistently achieved high grades in GCSE and A-level exams, a testament to the effectiveness of my methods.

Recently I have been carrying out speaking exams for Spanish, French and German students at a local school this year and I have been teaching GCSEs and A level, so am aware of all the current formats and standards.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is centred around variety and motivation. I incorporate activities, games, and songs into my lessons because I believe they are key to success and enjoyment. Most importantly, I prioritize making my students feel comfortable and at ease, as this allows them to thrive.

What sets me apart is my commitment to tailoring each lesson to the individual student's needs and goals. Every lesson is carefully crafted to maximize potential, and I've seen first hand how this approach can yield impressive results.
