I am experienced French teacher and GCSE examiner. I have an excellent understanding of markschemes at GCSE level and can help my students to achieve their best. I also have a MA in Expert Teaching which has equipped me with a wide range of strategies to help all learners.

Tutoring Experience

I completed my PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages in 2017, having achieved a 1st class degree in French and History from the University of Warwick in 2016. Since then, I've taught French to 100s of students, and developed my own skill through a MA in Expert Teaching. As a teacher, I've examined for AQA but also have a strong understanding of the other exam boards.

Tutoring Approach

I understand the importance of building confidence when learning a language. For students aiming for academic exams, I can centre tuition on building language ability whilst ensuring excellent exam technique.
For adult or casual learners, tuition can focus on areas of interest, taking a more communicative or grammar focused approach, depending on your preference.
