Eleanor

Hi I’m Eleanor and I’m passionate about making early education a happy, accessible and inclusive experience for everyone.

I specialise in the Early Years (the foundation years) and KS1. Does your little one need a boost? Some extra challenge? Or perhaps you’re preparing for a Reception entrance exam or a change in schools? Whatever it is, I can help. I love to teach and developing a relationship with a child is a privilege I treasure.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught Reception for 9 years and also have experience in Nursery and Year 1. My passion for teaching has never waned.

I started of tutoring several years ago with a nursery age child who then successfully gained a place at a very well regarded Dulwich private school. I currently have regular tutees in Year 1 who I have brought up to ELG level over the summer, ready for the start of the academic year.

I have taught in three schools, leading different subjects and taking on the role of Early Years Lead. I am now tutoring full time. I have a passion for helping children enjoy and access education in their earliest years.

Tutoring Approach

I make learning fun, inclusive and effective and graded as an “Outstanding” teacher. I have experience with all levels of ability and with SEN. I hope I can help your little one achieve their full potential!

I am accustomed to adapting to different needs and include opportunities for students to learn in varying ways - none of us are the same!

Depending on the requirements of the learner I can use a very play based style of learning, a more structured approach, or a combination of the two, whilst always making it a joy.
