Tutoring Approach

I am a relaxed and patient tutor, willing to match my approach to the needs of the student.

Using the National Curriculum or the syllabus provided by the relevant exam board, my first priority is fostering a solid understanding of the material. If the student struggles with a particular topic, we'll approach it from multiple angles to find a framework that works for them as an individual.

I will also help the student to practice exam technique, using example questions, and assist them in preparing revision materials for when they come back to the topic in future.

I'm also very happy to explore further material beyond the curriculum for gifted students who'd like to broaden their understanding.
