Edward

Hey there! I'm Eddie. I have a background as diverse as it gets in education, I've been lucky enough to teach English to both adults and young learners, contribute to curriculum development, and even spend time as a secondary school teacher where I fine-tuned my skills in behaviour management and content adaptation. Based in vibrant Manchester, I'm gearing up for an exciting next step in my career journey.

Come September 2024, I'll be diving into an MA program in Psychotherapy and Counseling at Cumbria University, driven by my fascination with human behavior and my aspiration to transition into the field of psychotherapy. I'm passionate about understanding individuals on a deeper level, and I truly believe that my background in education, coupled with my forthcoming studies in psychotherapy, will enable me to provide holistic support to students on their educational journey.

Let's team up and make learning an enriching experience together!

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is centered around preparing students for exams while also emphasizing the personal aspects of learning. I prioritize building confidence and trust in the academic development process, focusing on formative assessment, feedback, and reflection. This tailored approach is directed towards meeting the specific requirements of each student to ensure they align with the exam specifications.

Understanding that time constraints are common and that students vary in their depth of comprehension, I strive to provide accessible learning experiences. I recognize that some students may grasp concepts more readily than others, and I am dedicated to supporting each individual according to their needs. By integrating exam preparation with personalized attention and a supportive learning environment, I aim to empower students to achieve their academic goals effectively.
