I am a first year undergraduate studying Physics with Innovation at the University of Bristol. I love Maths and for me it is the bedrock of science and essential for understanding our complex world.
Outside of my studies I enjoy playing piano and flute and singing.

Tutoring Experience

I am a skilled mathematician with A*s in both Maths and Further Maths at A level.
During sixth form, I was a teaching assistant in GCSE maths classes. I worked closely with the teacher to identify areas where some individuals were particularly struggling. After pinpointing these problem areas, I addressed them in small focussed groups or one-to-one sessions.

Tutoring Approach

There is no better way to master mathematics than to practice endless questions, so my tutorial sessions will be very much focussed on answering as many questions as possible. I also believe that it is important for students to be challenged, repeating the same method over again can ingrain basic mathematical principles, but the variety and excitement found in answering more complex problems is essential in terms of preparation for exams and for developing an enthusiasm and love for the subject.
I understand that everyone has different learning styles and I will tailor my tutorials to suit your preferences, so you can get the most out of every session. Maths is notoriously difficult and exams can be daunting, but sheer determination to succeed means you are halfway there. I have learned many revision techniques and tricks, which I can share to help you navigate through your studies and together we will ensure you can achieve your full potential in your exams.
