I have worked with a wide range of age groups in the UK and abroad, which has given me insight into the diverse challenges students may face. I specialise in SATs preparation, Key Stages 1–4, GCSE English Language and Literature, and IELTS.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring since my A-levels. What began as helping classmates and younger students gradually developed into a genuine passion for education. This interest led me to work as a teaching assistant in UK primary and secondary schools, where I gained a strong understanding of the national curriculum across all key stages. More recently, I have been working as an EFL teacher in both the UK and East Asia, teaching adults and children alike.

My teaching approach is grounded in best practices I have developed throughout my career as an educator. By equipping students with the tools and knowledge to discover answers independently, I enable them to become active participants in their own learning. This fosters confidence and supports progress towards their goals.

For students who require additional support, I adapt my pace and work more closely with them to ensure they build the strong foundation necessary for achieving optimal results.
I employ a range of methods in my tutorials, including past exam papers, practice questions, and model answers. For EFL students, these are often supplemented with activities such as role plays and listening exercises using authentic audio clips.
