I am a penultimate year Law undergraduate studying at the University of Cambridge. I have always been hard-working and passionate about learning, but I also am a friendly and warm person, and I really enjoy helping people. I am interested in a variety of subjects, as well as extra-curricular activities, but I always love learning new things.
I have tutored primary school-aged children for a year with a tutoring company, mentored younger students studying for their GCSEs during secondary school, and have most recently done both unpaid and paid tutoring for students applying to study Law at university.
My approach follows on from the initiative of the students. For example, I tend to go through work that they are particularly struggling with. This would include talking over the basics, and then providing various exercises to expand on that discussion. For English especially, I tend to favour verbal work in order to expand creativity - but it all depends on what the student most needs help with.
