I have been teaching for 13 years across a wide range of environments and have been tutoring 11+ and GCSE English for 7 years. I love teaching and I currently offer face to face tuition at my home and online.

Group online tuition may be available depending on interest (these sessions are at a reduced cost).

Tutoring Experience

I am an English teacher and Head of Department in a secondary environment. I have been an examiner and senior examiner for over 10 years with several exam boards. I specialise in literacy and my tutoring is focussed on 11+. I have a high success rate and thoroughly enjoy helping students develop their skills.

Tutoring Approach

I am warm and friendly and work to ensure that students feel comfortable and ready to learn. This is key to their engagement and success and so being a bit silly and fun is part of my teaching persona as it helps students to relax and to feel comfortable asking for help when needed.
