I am a fully qualified teacher in all branches of English at from university Foundation level, A level, AS level, GCSE, Key Stage 3 -4 to EL3-L2 Functional skills.
For over 16 years, I worked in a variety of diverse sixth form colleges, high school, academies an SEND provision across both the Merseyside and Greater Manchester. After lockdown, I worked in one of Wirral’s top grammar school as an English teacher covering 2years maternity leave. I am enthusiastic, approachable with a passion for helping students achieve what they thought they could not - self belief is crucial.
My lessons fun and interactive. I have extremely impressive pass rates within the A* - E in A levels and Level 9 - Level 4 grading in GCSE. I have raised some of my private students as much as three grades higher than their school predicted grades. I tailor the sessions to match my students' needs and incorporate their particular learning styles to keep them engaged.
Despite the obstacles presented during the lockdowns my results continue to excellent, with some students improving from L2 to Grade L7 in GCSE Language and from L3 to Grade 8 in English Literature.
