I am a fully qualified, teacher with 25 years of experience teaching KS4, and KS5 through to university level Spanish including GCSE, A-level, IB and adult learners. I am a passionate teacher, who enjoys teaching and truthfully excited to see students reach their full potential.
Having dynamism, warmth, dedication and commitment makes me an ideal tutor who strives to inspire students to be motivated learners as well as to achieve excellent results in Spanish. My passion for the language and culture as well as to see my students thrive and achieve their full potential helps greatly.

Tutoring Experience

I have enjoyed working in schools and colleges for the past twenty-five years. I have been Head of Spanish in an Independent School over the last few years.
Being a GCSE and A Level Spanish Examiner helps me to know with precision what my students need to learn with view to achieve good grades in their exams. I also have experience teaching home schooled students and have taught adult classes. My students considered me a dedicated tutor who meets the individual learning needs of each student.

Tutoring Approach

With every student I carry out an initial assessment of their needs and abilities, and my teaching begins from there. Only then I proceed to start working with the student to fill gaps in their knowledge, improve areas of weakness and stretch them to achieve their full potential. Each lesson is tailor-made to the individual needs. I use a wide range of techniques to make lessons engaging as well as achieve results. I use both established published materials and those that I have created myself over the years.
