I am currently undergoing my PGCE degree and am looking to get qualified in December! I take great pride in teaching pupils and helping them achieve their targets.

Tutoring Experience

I have a great deal of experience in childcare and teaching. I have taught key stages 1 and 2, providing engaging lessons whilst assessing children’s progress in order to promote good progress. I have taught various subjects: English, maths, science, PE, RE, PSHE and Geography.

Tutoring Approach

I take on a learner centred approach when teaching where I base my teaching by responding to the pupils needs as they emerge, for example if a pupil has difficulty in understand if the scientific equation: speed = distance/time. I would stop my planned lesson to give examples so that pupils learning can be consolidated before moving on. I enjoy working collaboratively with pupils!
