Personal Description:

I am an enthusiastic, organized, punctual and communicative Guitar and Spanish teacher, with a variety of approaches to teaching. I am from Colombia but I have lived in Spain for 16 years as my mother is from Barcelona and my father from Bogotá. I love to travel and I have been in many countries. These experiences have had a great influence on my way of seeing the world. It's helped me become more open-minded, more able to empathize with and have a better understanding of students from different nationalities while taking into account cultural differences. My grand father was from Santander (Spain) and he has taught me how to play Guitar with his own method. Some times I like to mix my Spanish lessons with Spanish songs and Guitar lessons which is really funny. Planning and delivering well structure lessons which engage and motivate my students I can learn more and develop my skills promoting the education and well being of children and young people.

Approximately 406 million people speak Spanish as a native language, making it the second-most-spoken language by number of native speakers.
Spanish and English share much of their vocabulary through cognates, as both languages derive many of their words from Latin and Arabic. Spanish is not only in Spain. A whole continent is waiting for you.

If what you want is some music, there are multitude of reasons to learn Guitar. For children and adults offers a creative outlet with an endless stream of new things to learn. Is a form of relaxation, you can allow yourself to fully focus on one thing, and have a mini escape from the pressures of your everyday life.

Taking up a hobby such as the guitar can have a profound impact on your confidence, which can make big changes in your personal life.
