I am a friendly and patient tutor, with a caring approach. As a teacher I aim to support and challenge my students to help them achieve their goals. I have a Masters in Physics from Imperial College and teach Physics and Mathematics at a sixth form college.
I have plenty of experience tutoring Physics and Mathematics from KS4 up to undergraduate level. I have helped students with UCAS applications and interveiws to top universities. I have also coached students for the BMAT, Olympiads and Aptitude Tests.
I believe every student learns differently, and the best way to enable success is to teach to each individual students needs. Therefore, I take time to learn my students interests, strengths and weaknesses so that I can adapt my teaching to suit them.
I like to use concrete examples to illustrate abstract concepts. This includes using examples from music and sports to explain concepts likes waves and forces.
I feel that feedback is really important and so at the end of each lesson I like to check my students understanding and suggest areas for improvement.
