Hey! My name is Dharma (previously known as 'Miss Removed') and I am now a Private Tutor. I specialise in providing Mathematics and English support to students across Key Stages 1 and 2. I have a passion for teaching and creating resources and tutoring provides me with the opportunity to do both. If you are interested, don't hesitate to get in touch!

Tutoring Experience

Previously being a Primary School Teaching Assistant, I have experience working in the heart of the action and understanding the pupil expectations across all year groups. I also know all about the difficulty of finding additional support for your child during the chaotic school days due to the overwhelming student-to-teacher ratio. Using my years of group and 1:1 teaching experience, however, I aim to tackle this issue through conducting personalised tutoring sessions online. This way, I can continue my love of teaching but now have the time to focus on my student's specific needs and provide that sought after unique, learning experience.

Tutoring Approach

I do not have one particular learning style as its always important to adapt depending on the students needs and learning styles! However, I always aim to create fun, engaging activities and a happy learning environment. It's important I try my best to make sure my students can both learn and enjoy their sessions simultaneously, rather than dreading them every week. I use a variety of resources such as games, worksheets, interactive whiteboards and various other tools in order to achieve this.
