Hi! I'm Deven, an MBA student @ London Business School. Prior to the MBA, I worked as a strategy consultant at Strategy&, helping corporate and private equity clients with their most pressing strategic questions.

I am also a qualified chartered accountant and have a degree in Economics from the University of Warwick.

In my spare time, I love reading, having political and philosophical debates, playing football and tennis, travelling the world, and trying to cook (not very well - but don't let being bad at something stop you from doing it!)

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring since the age of 18, mostly focused on Maths. I have taught c.150 students since then, ranging from students going through 11+ entrance examinations to adults and university students looking for additional support.

I have also led teaching sessions as part of the ACA qualification and can teach the GMAT (score = 730 after one attempt)

Tutoring Approach

Teaching style: collaborative, iterative and hands on
Teaching intent: I want students to spend time understanding the intuition behind a concept rather than just rote learning. Regurgitation is not the aim

I want to challenge my students, encourage them to be an independent thinker, and foster an environment of curiosity.#/k#
