Hello! I'm Deirdre and have a passion for teaching Drama and English, both in practical and written form. I am currently teaching at one of London's top regarded Independent Schools and would love to guide you and your child on their journey to becoming a more confident and supported Drama or English student.

Tutoring Experience

I have been qualified for four years and have been working in the Independent sector teaching Cambridge International, AQA and CCEA exam boards. I have taught from prep school age right up to A-Level and am confident I will be able to provide the tools required for you to reach your full potential!
I have been tutoring for four years and have helped students achieve A*'s, distinctions and awards for their performances and written work.
I was creative producer for Ireland's National Stage company and worked on facilitating and directing numerous youth productions. I know how to provide a safe space where children can flourish and naturally develop life skills which translate both on stage and in their daily life.

Tutoring Approach

I know first hand how daunting some can find drama, public speaking or having to write an intimidating English essay. Luckily, I also know how fun and exciting both subjects can be! That feeling when you perfect the monologue, pass the exam or deliver an incredible performance... those feelings stay with you for a lifetime.
I'm here to take away any worries and provide a comfortable environment where all can learn at their own pace, where their progression is valued and successes are celebrated.
