Native Italian from Milan. Passionate about languages and teaching. I travelled extensively around Europe to improve my language skills and this helps me to understand my students' difficulties when learning Italian. I am very interested in learning about other cultures, in particular Japanese language and traditions. I like to be in nature and with dogs.

Tutoring Experience

I started teaching Italian to adults in 2000. I worked in London and Tokyo. I have been teaching adults in person and online, one-to-one, couples and groups. I have recently gained a certificate to teaching young learners in person and GCSE students online.

Tutoring Approach

Communicative method. However I tend to adapt my method according to the students' skills, needs and levels. I make sure the students always learn in a relaxed way and support them to achieve their language targets from the beginning, with homework (if they can do it), repeating lessons/topics, suggesting other resources they can use to improve, according to their interests.
I believe learning a language talking about own interests helps students to improve fast and with fun! I am adaptable to students' needs and background.
