I'm Dean. After studying Fine Art and Graphic Design at Kent Institute of Art and Design, I have since had a successful career as a Creative Director working with many different brands. One thing that has seen me through all of this is strong drawing skills and the ability to communicate ideas effectively.

Tutoring Experience

Having tutored part-time in art and design for several years, I have enabled students to develop their skills and confidence, prepare for exams and assessments and successfully gain art scholarships for private school by helping them to create an impressive portfolio that will show their understanding and ability across key areas. Furthermore, I can offer real-world experience of how, not just an ability to draw, but ways of seeing, understanding colour and so much more, can lay a valuable foundation in careers from architecture to website design.

Tutoring Approach

Firstly I want to understand to the student's current abilities and goals. I can then tailor a programme to guide them step by step towards success. By teaching simple techniques and developing understanding of the subject, I have seen student's confidence and ability improve beyond recognition. I offer step by step, one to one tuition to learn the essentials that will improve drawing skills. We will go at your own pace and I will tailor the lessons towards your personal goal.
