I am a friendly secondary maths teacher with a huge amount of experience teaching Mathematics to local students. I have taught Maths and Further Maths at both GCSE and A level over many years.

Tutoring Experience

I have well over a decade's experience teaching A level and GCSE Maths and Further Mathematics. Many of those years were spent as Head of Mathematics. I have helped hundreds of students achieve the grades they want.
I have a huge range of teaching and revision resources available so I can be fully flexible to a student's tutoring needs.

Tutoring Approach

Together with the student/parent we will make a plan about what the key priorities are to work on and a sensible order.
I am very patient and friendly and will go at the pace required by the student. The beauty of tutoring is that the student can be completely honest about their levels of understanding and everything can be tailored to them.
I ensure that there are lots of exam questions covered in practice and guidance is given for follow up work between sessions.
