I am an experienced Educator within the Secondary Education sector. I have held positions from classroom teacher up to Associate Assistant Principal, and have extensive experience of teaching classes of all abilities across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

Tutoring Experience

I have 10 years experience of teaching the Edexcel, OCR, CCEA and EDUQAS specifications. As a former Middle and Senior Leader within Secondary education I have conducted hundreds of hours of lesson observations, learning walks and mentoring for new and experienced staff, and have very extensive experience of planning and designing curricula and schemes of work for all Humanities subjects

Tutoring Approach

I employ a range of student-centred approaches to prepare students of all abilities for the requirements of external examinations. This includes detailed analysis of syllabuses and past examinations, planning likely future questions and identifying key topics for consideration.
