I am a highly experienced English tutor who can help you enjoy your studies and achieve strong results. I tailor my approach according to your individual needs, and can help with everthing from how to close read books, poetry or plays, to writing essays and preparing for exams (which I've had to do lots of studying my Master's degree in American Literature)

I also have lots of experience in helping people to set and achieve bigger goals, like choosing a career, or deciding which subject to study in higher education. I offer supportive person-centred sessions that will encourage you to explore your motivations behind a particular choice, and even sessions that help you to figure out what choices you want to make.

Tutoring Experience

My background encompasses extensive one-on-one tutoring as well as group instruction. This includes:

• Designing and executing a 30-week 'Writing and Talking' programme for the National Saturday Club.
• Serving as the Lead Tutor for three years on Goldsmiths Progression Scheme's 'Explore Word' programme.
• Acting as a Supervisory Coach on the National Collaborative Outreach Programme, where I led a team of coaches in delivering a year-long coaching program for care-experienced students.
• Conducting tutoring workshops in Greenwich as part of the Borough's attainment-raising initiative, designed to bridge the gap between strong GCSE results in English and inconsistent performance at A Level.
