Hi, I am currently a third year medical student studying at Imperial College London. I achieved A*A*A (Maths, Chemistry and Biology) at A-Level. I also took A-level French, and finished the course content but opted out of receiving a qualification in the subject.
My social skills are good and I can easily communicate with people which makes tutoring enjoyable for me and I'll make sure it's productive for my tutees.
-Worked as a private tutor at Wallington County Grammar School for 3 months, under Folio Education Trust.
-Tutored intermittently throughout sixth form and my gap year, and have accumulated over 200 hours of experience teaching Maths, Biology, Chemistry and French.
-Provided BMAT mentoring to several students
-Provided bespoke personal statement reviewing services to several students
One of the main difficulties a student faces in a classroom is to adjust to the pace of teaching, which varies depending on the response of so called 'better' students, I provide a learning environment, where no question is a silly question, instilling confidence and a love for learning in my tutees.
My teaching methods include regular retrieval practice and practice with past papers.
