I am a down to earth person who enjoys travelling, learning about new cultures and working with children. Apart from travelling I am an avid football fan, enjoying playing, talking about and watching matches.

Tutoring Experience

With six years of dedicated teaching experience and a solid educational foundation, I earned my PGCE at Northumbria University and further honed my expertise with a Masters in Education in 2021. My academic journey began with the completion of a Biomedical Science degree, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of the sciences.

Committed to excellence, I actively engage in continuous professional development (CPD) events to stay abreast of the latest educational advancements. This proactive approach not only ensures the relevance and currency of my teaching methods but also facilitates accelerated pupil progress. Tutoring Approach

Embracing the philosophy that learning flourishes in an environment where making mistakes is welcomed, my teaching approach is characterized by a relaxed atmosphere. I encourage children to delve deeper into their understanding by challenging the 'why' behind their answers. Rather than spoon-feeding information, I believe in a methodical deconstruction and reconstruction of topics. Much like the adage, "Rome wasn't built in a day," I am unafraid to break down complex subjects into manageable components, fostering a more profound comprehension over time.
