I am currently in year 13 (Final year of A-Levels) I am taking psychology, biology and chemistry. My predicted grades in these are AA*A. I have a lot of knowledge in these subjects. In GCSE I achieved An 8(A*) in all three of these.
A lot of my close family are teachers and I have experiences from them, I have also helped in a tutor centre at GCSE level
My approach is to go over any foundation knowledge that is needed for the subject. I will then ask for any topics the student is struggling that and spend more time on these sections so they fully understand them. I do exam questions to make sure they can get their head around them. I may also set extra work if I feel like it is necessary.
