I am 22 years old and from Liverpool in the UK. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in history at the University of Liverpool in 2019, and I am now completing my Master’s degree in cultural history. I am living in Madrid for a year, teaching English as a foreign language. I have many years of experience working with students in an array of subjects. I was also an editor for the Postgraduate Journal for Irish Studies at the University of Liverpool which was published this year.
I am friendly, approachable and passionate about teaching. I will cater lessons around the students needs and will be available to answer any questions students may have.
Since 2016 I have volunteered at Alsop High School, observing lessons and gaining experience in the classroom. In 2018 the school’s special educational needs department hired me as a teaching assistant, where I worked closely with a number of students ensuring they were producing an exceptional standard of work. I also held extra curricular classes for students in a number of subjects, preparing them for their GCSE examinations.
I have also tutored since 2016, mostly teaching history and English.
I cater lessons around the students. Each lesson is individually planned to ensure students get the most out of our time. I have access to an array of sources which will help students outside of lessons. I like to maintain a friendly learning environment for my students and cater lessons around their specific needs.
