Tutoring Experience
Highly experienced and highly qualified native Spanish speaker trained in the UK with a record of excellent results. I worked in a Sixth Form college until I decided to dedicate full time to private tuition. I have also done extensive supply work, so I understand every learning need and the challenges of education. I find one-to-one tuition extremely rewarding and my students' grades always exceed expectations.
Tutoring Approach
If you are studying for exams and you would like to get the highest grade or you are struggling with Spanish at the moment I will plan our sessions based on your individual needs. We will work on your weaknesses and reinforce your strengths so you progress quickly in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking and become a confident and successful language learner. Ensuring you achieve an excellent result is my objective, so we will work on exam techniques too, with an emphasis on the Listening and Reading question papers. My masters in Education focused on Formative assessment , so I have the skills to unlock your potential and help you learn Spanish to a very high standard. Being an author and formal journalist means I can offer A level students a more interesting approach to literary texts and films, as well as ensuring you write flawless analytical essays. Understanding the topics and developing your opinions whilst improving you grammar to express your point of view in a sophisticated manner is also the key to succeeding in the Speaking exam, and we will work on this from the beginning.
