I am a primary school teacher and head of KS2 in a London school. I graduated from Roehampton University. (2.2 BA Hons in Primary education) I offer tuition to KS1 and KS2 children. I am an engaging and enthusiastic class teacher able to promote a love of learning and keen to get the best results from the students in my care. I am dedicated and committed to my teaching responsibilities and want to provide this service outside of school to students who need extra encouragement with their learning.
I studied at Roehampton University, the leading education institution where I underwent placements in outstanding to satisfactory schools. I have taught a range of abilities in both literacy and numeracy.
I am currently a Key Stage 2 leader and class teacher for year 3 since starting teaching eight years ago.
I have also recently taken on the role of numeracy co-ordinator in my school. I am also a member of the Senior Leadership Team
I have had many years of teaching experience ranging from 1.1 support, focus group, whole class and year teaching. I have taught a range of abilities in maths from greater depth to working below the expected standards and SEN.
I am a friendly, calm and creative teacher. I assess the level of the student and base my teaching upon the assessment made, making the learning manageable and meaningful for the student. I am engaging, approachable and charismatic, and I am continually learning myself. This passion transfers to those I teach. I am sure to create a stimulating, nurturing and productive learning environment for the student in order for them to surpass their potential.
I have tutoring experience ranging from Year 1 to Year 6.
