I love the life sciences and nature. They have been a part of my life for over 40 years. Helping others to enjoy these subjects as much as I do would be wonderful. I subscribe to the RSPB and National Geographic. Music is also a passion for me, I play piano, organ at church and sing to a high level. I have a great interest in Art and like to paint and draw.

Tutoring Experience

I worked at CAMR Porton Down, Salisbury, as a Research Microbiologist for 13 years. After that I worked for Merck KGaA, a life science, chemical and pharmaceutical company in several roles for 18 years. I am fully aware of the specifications for GCSE level.

Tutoring Approach

A firm yet relaxed, open and friendly atmosphere with targets appropriate to the students requirements. Teaching will centre around the students needs including a frank discussion to decide how best to approach tutoring. Time frames and targets will be set.
