See info at the bottom of my of profile regarding special September rate. Limited time only for New Clients.
I have several years of experience within Senco departments and have supported many students who are neurodiverse. As a neurodiverse Individual I am even more aware of the obstacles and extra challenges that are faced when dealing with information and the social world. This has allowed me to further grow learner confidence and facilitate stronger progress.
Learners need to feel listened too and heard whether neurodiverse or neurptypical. This is an aspect that I place great importance upon. I am not just their tutor, but a guide and a constant support as they take on the challenges that learning new skills and concepts naturally places on them at A level.
I aim to work in a way that maximises their strengths and free up their capacity to achieve more as efficiently as possible. This begins with rapport building, clearly determining their needs and continues by demonstrating exactly what is needed to achieve their aspirations based on their psychology specification.
I have two decades of classroom experience and over a decade managing Social Science departments in both private and state sector education. As such I have gained a wealth of insight into raising student attainment in my subjects with students from many different walks of life.
I very much enjoy the wide array of fields within psychology and over recent years I have found myself exploring other avenues of interest such as sport and exercise and the psychology of motivation and performance enhancement within this area. I found the exercise allowed me to feel calmer and regulate myself better. This led me further into wanting to share this with others and over several years of training and studying I became a certified personal trainer with specialisms in sports psychology, Diet and Nutrition, MMA conditioning, corrective exercise and performance enhancement.
I have a wealth of teaching experience and over two decades as a classroom practioner. I confidently teach AQA, OCR, IB, Edexcel, IAl and Cambridge International A-Level psychology. I am also an experienced senior examiner for three examination boards with over 18 years of examining for different boards. I am a published author and have created concise, learner friendly revision resources which are only made available to my students. I have tutored students from many other disciplines including PE A level, entrance examinations for key secondary school places alongside English, Science and Maths to key stage 4.
A variety of methods to best accommodate the student and make learning enjoyable, progressive and purposeful. My students excel because I place their learning at the foremost importance whilst ensuring assessments are directly in line with their aspirational grade and their specification requirements.

These provide significantly reduced session rates for clients who purchase 6 or 10 sessions in advance. Package Rate learners also benefit from regular slots alongside additional marking for every package purchased.
ALL sessions are 50 minutes in length.

Cancellations within 24 hours of the lesson start time will lead to the lesson being forfeited.
Currently I am offering a reduced session rate of 50£ per session for New Clients in September Only! Those taking advantage of this current rate can hold the rate through till the end of January. The session rate then reverts back to 75£ per 50 minute session but can then be lowered further by opting for a pay in advance 6 or 10 package. Please note, whilst clients are on the September rate, they need only pay one session in advance and packages are not available. A client may still choose to pay for several sessions in advance for convenience but this will not lower the session rate further or benefit from additional marking. It will however allow for the booking of sessions weeks or months in advance. If a client who is on the September rate chooses to continue tuition beyond January, they may then opt for a pay in advance 6(360) or 10 (550) session package to lower the session rate as it reverts back to the October to August standard rate of 75£ per session.
