Claire

My name is Claire, and I am an experienced teacher and tutor. I am writing to express my interest in joining your esteemed tutoring agency as a tutor. I've been on an incredible journey working with children in various roles and settings. I specialise in the primary curriculum and personalised teaching, and I have over 18 years of experience working in education for primary-aged children. For the last 2 years, I have built up my own successful tutoring business, and now I am looking to tutor throughout the day. I am dedicated and passionate about providing inclusive education and support to all the children I teach, including those with a range of special needs. Throughout my career as a teacher, a tutor, and a teaching assistant, I have acquired valuable experience that has equipped me to positively impact the lives of many children in various settings. Previously, I have worked with home-educated children and children with EOTAS. I have experience working with children with a range of educational needs, such as ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, PTSD, anxiety, and neurodiversity. This experience has given me an in-depth insight into how children learn best emotionally, socially, and academically. I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge with others and utilising my skills to enable them to become well-rounded individuals, encouraging them to make the right choices and make the most of every learning opportunity. With my patient and supportive nature, I create strong and trusting relationships and provide the necessary encouragement and guidance to help them reach their goals and work at their own pace. I am skilled in breaking down complex concepts and explaining them in a way that is easy to understand to meet diverse needs. It's my mission to help children reach their full potential by providing engaging and meaningful educational and real-life learning experiences. I live in Rayleigh, Essex and am happy to travel within a 10 miles radius. I have indemnity and public liability insurance, a DBS certificate and recent Safeguarding, Child protection ASD, and ADHD training certificates.
