I am a passionate musician and educator with a diverse background in music. Having studied music in Manchester, I honed my skills and knowledge in piano & saxophone. Today, I work at a prominent record label during the day & tutor in the evenings.

Tutoring Experience

With over 5 years of experience tutoring music, I take pride in my students' achievements. Numerous pupils under my guidance have taken the prestigious ABRSM exams, and without exception, all have achieved merits or distinctions, showcasing the effectiveness of my teaching approach.

Having successfully passed my Grade 5 piano exam, I continued to play challenging pieces up to approximately Grade 7 level. Further, I am a distinguished saxophonist, achieving a distinction in their Grade 8 jazz saxophone exam. My knowledge is not limited to performance alone; I possess a wide understanding of music theory. Achieving an 'A' in my A-Level music exams while concurrently pursuing their Grade 6 music theory.

Tutoring Approach

I teach people how to play their instruments whilst learning how to read music at the same time. Once the fundamentals are firmly established, I ensure that my students get to learn the songs and pieces they're genuinely excited about, making the learning process engaging and enjoyable.
