I’m a retired Chartered Accountant and have been working as a volunteer tutors since September 2020. Enjoyed working with young people helping them to understand Maths and improving their ability to achieve better academic results. I’ve time to help 2 or 3 students in their A level and GCSE maths in the coming months.

Tutoring Experience

Working with year 6 to year 13 students.

Tutoring Approach

To discuss the topics students find them hard to understand
To find day to day examples to work through the maths concept in order to help students getting a better understanding why maths is important not just for their exam but their life in future.
For A level students focus more on past exam questions to work out their weaknesses in order to focus on areas that may yield better improvements given the time constraints that some students may have.
