My name is Chris. I am bilingual in Spanish .
I grew up in Spain & Argentina, then worked in México. Now I live back in Blighty.
I hold a Masters in Spanish (& Russian) from Edinburgh University.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching Spanish both 1-1 and to small groups of all ages online for over 5 years.
Whether you are cramming for a GCSE, Highers, or A-Level exam, brushing up before you jet off to a Spanish-speaking country or starting from scratch I will help you to progress.

Tutoring Approach

I excel at helping my students master the grammar, improve their pronunciation and speak and write with confidence.
I am patient and supportive, will help you identify and build on your strengths. I adapt quickly to your learning style.
In my experience, combining grammatical rules with new sentence constructions and vocab is best taught using the demonstrator (I do, we do, you do) method. For more experienced individuals or those preparing for exams, a project/coach approach can be more effective. I will use real life examples and if preparing for an exam I will set tasks for my students to complete before the next session so that we can progress.
I am making early and late slots available over the Xmas break for anyone who needs immediate assistance for upcoming exams.
