I am a 33 year old male Primary teacher and head of assessment who works in a private school in Maida Vale. I have taught a range of students in the past, varying in age as well as ability and skill sets. I adapt my teaching to the students needs and provide all resources for the particular level that your child will be working towards.

I have experience in preparing students for their SATs, 11+ Verbal/ Non Verbal, spatial reasoning as well as teaching general English and Maths.

I also have experience working 1-1 with SEN children such those with Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD and other Special Educational Needs. I have also worked with a severely visually impaired child.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 10 years of teaching experience, all with independent schools. I begun with a few months of supply teaching in Inner and Outer London schools. I was then offered a contracted position, as sabbatical cover, at a private school in Central London as a Year 5/6 teacher. Here I helped the children prepare for their entrance exams.

I have worked at a private school in East London as a Year 6 boys tutor and helped them to achieve scholarships with their 11+ and entrance into local schools. I am currently working in another private school in Maida Vale as a Year 5 teacher where I am head of assessment and have a pastoral role as a leader of safeguarding.

I am a kind and patient tutor and will identify how your child is struggling and adapt things to suit their needs. I am willing to provide assessments and observations and prepare resources to the level of your child.
