Tutoring Experience

As a French native, I have worked in one to one and school settings. I have successfully guided students from absolute beginners to advanced levels in French listening, reading, writing and speaking. I focus on building a strong foundation in vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar.

Tutoring Approach

I strive to create a fun and supportive learning environment building confidence. I specialise exam technique for GCSE and school assessments, focusing on being familiar with the exam format, the marketing criteria and having time management skills. I provide regular exam practice during my lessons.

Teaching approach:

French Speaking: Practising role plays. I cover common conversation topics that are common in exams, encouraging fluency and pronunciation.

French Listening: I use audio resources from past exam papers and videos working to improve understanding and expose students to the French accent

French Reading: I introduce a mix of past papers and different texts with a strong focus on comprehension

French Writing: I teach students on how to structure answers, with a strong emphasis on grammar accuracy and sentence structures.
