Fantastic teacher. Daughter was a bit nervous before starting, but within minutes she was at ease and enjoying the class. Lessons are delivered over Skype which works really well and are great value. Sessions are structured and homework set. Highly recommended.

Chelsea is an incredibly patient, kind and knowledgable teacher. In addition to her linguistic skills, she demonstrates a great awareness of how people learn (and how this differs between people) and this makes learning quite a difficult language feel much easier. Her explanations, resources and tasks are excellent and well considered. I have been able to contact her with questions between lessons and always get a speedy reply with the answer. She creates a relaxed and fun learning environment in her lessons and I am thoroughly enjoying learning with her. Thanks to Chelsea, I've made more progress in two months than I did in a year of independent study. And I'm still quite surprised I managed to find a Japanese teacher of her standard so local! I couldn't recommend her enough!

Chelsea makes learning a pleasure. She is very easy to talk with and learn from and she has a conscientious attitude throughout the whole week, not just during lesson time. She is quick to answer any queries I have and sets appropriate homework that keeps me constantly progressing but also doesn't take too long to complete. She also provides useful feedback on the homework. Overall I am thoroughly enjoying my lessons with Chelsea and feel I am progressing well because of her. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to others.
