Hello, my name is Charmaine. I am currently a final year medical student with a degree in medical physiology and cardiovascular research at King’s College London.I am skilled in teaching students at a university level as well as a school level ranging from year 7 to 6th form.
I have always engaged in teaching throughout my career. I have taught medical students in peer to peer teaching settings as well as workshops. I’ve also done some one-to-one tutoring for A-level students and GCSE students who have gone on to securing places in highly competitive courses such as medicine.
My teaching style is tailored to individual students and I analyse how they learn best. Then, I incorporate those learning techniques which will benefit them the most. I like to incorporate spaced and repetitive learning to enhance information recall. I like to be kind and supportive to my students and whenever they see setbacks I always like to go back and see what can be done to improve their learning.
