I am a qualified teacher with expertise in both Psychology A-Level and Business Studies GCSE. I have 4 years of experience facilitating students in reaching their academic goals. With additional certifications in both coaching and wellbeing, my approach to teaching is positive yet challenging. I look forward to expanding my reach and supporting more students through online tutoring.
I have honed my teaching skills at one of the top grammar schools in Kent since 2020. I completed my Initial Teacher Training between 2021 and 2022 and gained QTS in May 2022. Between 2022 and 2023, I taught Business Studies GCSE and A-Level Psychology, including Year 11 and 13 classes. Therefore, I am confident and experienced in teaching and supporting students through their exam years. Since September 2023, I have been purely teaching A-Level students the Psychology AQA specification.
I take the flipped learning approach to teaching and tutoring. I believe this is the best way to encourage independence amongst students, which is of high importance at both GCSE and A-Level study. Students pre-read the content (the easier part) prior to the lesson meaning that the lesson time can be used effectively to consolidate learning, address misconceptions and apply their knowledge to practice questions, all with my support.
