I am a mathematics teacher at a local school in Newcastle. I became a maths teacher after graduating from Newcaslte University with my Bsc in Mathematics. I have a real passion for maths and an attention to detail in my explanations to help push students further. I have over 2 years experience of private tutoring. I am also an A-Level examiner.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience of working in 3 schools through my training and current employment. I have over four years of teaching experience and I am now in my fourth year (3rd year of employment).

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is about mastering skills before moving on and making sure students understand what and why they are doing what they are doing. I think it is important that students build their confidence in mathematics and I do this through practice of lots of examples after expert modelling.
